I have an invisible disability. I am on the autism spectrum. While I do well in school, I struggle with loud noises, social cues, and anxiety.
For my Bar Mitzvah project, I am raising funds because I believe that if I had easier access to fidgets or other sensory items, I might have remained calm during stressful times. I want to help others with invisible disabilities or those experiencing stress by providing them with a sensory bag filled with items that can help them stay calm and focused.
The funds will be used to provide 2 years of training to Hillel Academy of Tampa and Congregation Rodeph Sholom, as well as a minimum of 5 sensory bags. Each additional bag costs $50.

The sensory bags will include:

Noise-Reducing Headphones
Marble Fidget
Noodle Fidget
Mesh Fidget
Strobe Reduction Glasses
VIP Lanyard
Visual Cue Card
Weighted Lap Pad

My goal is to raise $7000.
