Neurodiversity considers neurological differences to describe their differences in neurocognitive experiences and identity of individuals different than the neurotypical. Examples of conditions common among neurodivergent individuals are autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit disorder, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorders, and other intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions including obsessive-compulsive disorder and bipolar disorder.
